Sally came into Abakhan on an expert night, after some ribbon. I helped her with
this but as we were talking she informed me of an idea for her work regarding a cow.
She works for an ice cream dairy.I was able to help her to purchase the right pattern
and the exact fabric to replicate her breed of cows. The following e-mail is her
letting us know how it went. Fantastic job!!!!

"Hi Corrie

You will probably remember me as that mad (creative) woman who called into
Abakhan the other week to buy Friesian cow fabric for a village scarecrow competition.

I was pretty enthusiatic on arrival at Abakhan but after your help felt even more
inspired to get the job done. As promised, please find attached two pictures of
the finished article (I am the one standing!!).

It is currently on display at the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum. I named her Bernie
because she makes the finest ice cream in the North West
(related to Ernie, who drove the fastest milk cart in the West!!)

Many thanks for your help!

Sally Poulter"
