I just wanted to say a massive Thank You to Corrie! I've just attended her hobby to professional course at Abakhan and it was fantastic. Corrie is so knowledgable and easy to understand and most of all she is enthusiatic about dressmaking, whether it is for a hobby, or for a career. Corrie answered all of my questions with great patience and has even offered to answer questions via email as it's too far for me to go to her Ask the Professional sessions. I would reccomend her courses to everyone, no matter what their skill level. Even though I have been sewing for years, there was so much that I learnt that will help to make things easier and also to improve the quality of my sewing. I can't wait to put it allinto practice. Corrie is just fab!

The course at Abarkhan was brilliant and I learnt some good techniques that I am using. Corrie is a brilliant teacher and explained things so well. Would really like to do more classes and do much more sewing. HUGE thanks Corrie for helping me with advice for my daughters Graduation Cape gown and hood. I was beginning to panic, but I know you will be there with words of wisdom if needed - THANK YOU

This e-mail was sent to me recently by a Gwen, she had bought her dress and it didn't fit properly and she wanted the stole to be made into a jacket. The pics will be on soon and when they are it's the lilac dress in bridal, here's her e-mail- Hi Corrie, it's Gwen. Thanks so much for making my dress so special. Everyone loved it. Can't thenk you enough. You were like a friend to me and nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you Corrie for teaching me dressmaking at Abakhan! You are a brilliant teacher and I've remembered everything as you have taught it with such enthusiasm! I would recommend this course to anyone,(no matter how much or little you can do) I couldn't even switch on a sewing machine and I've now achieved a wool and cashmere coat!!! You are a gem Corrie!
